Japan Import Low-Sulphur Surcharge (LSS) Rate Increase Notice (2026 Q3)

In line with international oil price fluctuations, the Low-Sulphur Surcharge (LSS) on import cargo from Japan (transshipped via Shanghai) to Taiwan will be increased as follows, effective July 1, 2026 (Q3). The same rate applies to both standard and special containers. Please be advised accordingly.

Owing to berth dredging at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Terminal 4 and port closure due to heavy fog, the vessel was delayed and unable to enter port and commence operations on schedule, causing a delay to HAI MEN voyage S713 (Shanghai – Taiwan). The updated arrival times in Taiwan are as follows:
