Mingsung Cargo Insurance?

Four core advantages — from capacity and transit times to tracking and integrated services — keeping your high-value cargo moving in any market conditions.

03
30+ Underwriter Network
Long-standing partnerships with 30+ international and local underwriters, allowing us to match the right coverage to every risk profile and cargo value.

— FAQ

What You May Want to Know
About Cargo Insurance.

Our sales team has compiled the questions clients ask most often, helping you quickly grasp the key facts about this service.

The biggest difference is not the list of covered items but the burden of proof. ICC-A all risks: damage on arrival is covered by default. ICC-B/C named perils: not covered by default — the insured must prove the loss was caused by a listed peril.
We recommend ICC-A all-risks coverage for: high-value cargo, fragile cargo, cargo with multiple transshipments, and extended routings such as Red Sea diversions.
Four critical steps: (1) note "received damaged" on the delivery receipt; (2) photograph the damage immediately; (3) keep the damaged cargo and packaging until the surveyor's inspection is complete; (4) notify the Mingsung claims team within 72 hours.
Mingsung closes claims in 18 business days on average. An approved surveyor is appointed within 24 hours, and we accompany the inspection throughout.
Three key concerns: Red Sea diversions, port congestion and climate-related losses. All-risks policies should confirm that extended voyages are included.
